Malaysian police detain 26 in sex party raid

Kuala Lumpur - Malaysian police have detained 26 party revellers, aged between 18 and 31 years, when they raided a pre-dawn sex party in progress on Thursday, a news report said Thursday.

During the raid at a hotel room in the capital Kuala Lumpur, police found three couples on the bed while the others were entertaining themselves and believed to be intoxicated, police spokesperson Mahani Ahmad said.

Among those arrested during the operation, nine have tested positive for drugs, the Star daily reported.

Police have also found liquor and various drugs such as ketamine, cocaine and methamphetamine, believed to have been supplied by a 20-year old college student who was among those detained.

Mahani said preliminary investigations showed that invitations to the sex party, believed to be hosted by two local men, were sent out through a social network in the internet.

Police have also confirmed that those arrested have been taken to the police headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. (dpa)
