Halle Berry and boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry are going their separate ways after being involved in a relationship for more than four years. They are currently involved in a custody battle for their two year old daughter, Nahla.

This report was confirmed by a prominent entertainment website. The couple spent four years together after meeting each other during a Versace photo shoot in 2006. Their daughter was born in the year 2008.

The couple was in a live-in relationship and contrary to beliefs Halle Berry did not bother about the fact that she was nine years elder to her partner. She had confessed in March 2009 that she felt comfortable in the relationship and considered that not being married did not matter to any of them.

Even though she had declined to say anything about a long term relationship, she expressed happiness about the current state of their relations.

After splitting from her partner, Halle Berry, recently attended an award function alone. The Academy Award winning actress appeared cheerful and relaxed.

But the split has pained Gabriel Aubry as he confirmed the news through his modeling agency, Wilhelmina Models. He admitted that Berry will continue to have a special place in his life. The happiness and well-being of their young daughter is their biggest priority, stressed both of them.
