Official reports have confirmed that Fujitsu has managed to win a new three-year long contract with the Western Australian Police, a deal worth a whopping $15 Million.

Under the contract, the integrator would be providing program, project and change management in addition to business analysis services to the WA Police and the deal covers an additional two extension options. It was won by Fujitsu through a competitive tender procedure.

Robert Lislois, Fujitsu's WA State Manager, in an official statement said that the integrator was highly pleased to have bagged the opportunity to expand the already long standing relationship.

"We are delighted that WA Police continue to recognize the value Fujitsu can deliver through our capacity, capability and experience of working with the WA Police for many years", he said.

Fujistu has long been a strong and active player in the public sector market, making a special place for itself in Canberra. Over the past few months, the company has been preparing itself for expected changes to data centre sourcing in addition to planning for the public sector adoption of cloud computing services and technologies.
