On May 4, ASUS released their version of a next-generation desktop computer, boasting of an all-in-one touchscreen PC, dubbed the ASUS Eee Top PC ET2010.
The desktop computer has been designed for family use and is depicted as an "affordable contender as a home entertainment system".
The PC has a thickness of only 1" and can be wall-positioned in case you run out of space on your table.
It boasts of a 20" high definition plus wide-screen display with a resolution of 1200 x 600, HDMI compatibility, SRS virtual 5.1 surround sound. Moreover, it is scratch proof as well as damage-resistant.
ASUS joins the league of computer makers looking to all-in-one desktop PC designs.
Computer Company, MSI launched their trimly devised all-in-one Wind Top 21.5-inch multi-touch screen desktop PC back in November at a price tag of $749.99 (€575).
The ASUS Eee Top PC ET2010 comes at £619.99 (€720). It is now available in markets.
Meanwhile, rumors are that Taiwanese behemoth is also set to unveil its computer worldwide.
And Amazon seems to have started taking pre-orders for it on its American website at a cost of $599.
