TomTom Gives Star Wars Voices For Navigation

It has been seen that TomTom would be providing the UK drivers and option to get directions from Star Wars baddie Darth Vader.

TomTom is offering people with Star Wars voices which could be downloaded in the navigation systems. It has been noted that the voice of the Sith Lord not only gives TomTom satnav owners directions but it also includes original dialogue from the films and sound effects including light sabres.

It has been told that the Darth Vader's voice could be downloaded from TomTom's website today. These voices are just one of the Star Wars voices launched for TomTom satnavs in combination with Lucasfilm and VoiceSkins.

It was noticed that Android C-3PO would be available in June whereas Jedi trainer Yoda would be released in July and Han Solo in August.

"We are thrilled to launch these exclusive Star Wars voices, available only on TomTom devices. Now, Star Wars fans around the world can unite their passion for Star Wars with their love of the road, making every drive more personal and exciting", said Alain Pakiry, Senior Vice President for marketing at TomTom.

The users who download the voices could also download the free start up screen wallpaper and a Lord Vader map icon. It was seen that Darth Vader's voice could be downloaded for £7.95.
