ABC has declared that they are about to start six new shows this fall, comprising three comedies and three dramas, as well as one already pronounced prior this week.
In order to make space for their new shows, the network has also declared the annulment of many long-running and well-liked shows.
Majority of the cancellations came as no revelation, like ‘Better Off Ted’ and Alyssa Milano’s ‘Romantically Challenged’.
However, long-running and well-liked comedy show ‘Scrubs’ is one of the few that some will feel very sad to see it going.
Gossips were doing the rounds that for various seasons ‘Scrubs’ was going to end, and it seems that its time has at last come. Another show on the verge of cancellation is new series ‘Happy Town’ and ‘FlashForward’.
To fill the vacant slots, ABC has a diverse collection of new shows for audiences to pick from.
‘Mr. Sunshine’ has Matthew Perry as a middle-aged sports arena supervisor facing his 40s. The show also stars the wonderful Allison Janey.
‘Happy Endings’ is about a couple who call off their marriage, while standing at the altar, and how the split has an effect on their common peers. The basic idea of the drama should be known to anyone who has had to cope with common pals in the wake of a muddled breakup.
