At the Cannes Film Festival, E! News managed to talk to her when she was endorsing her forthcoming biopic about Winnie Mandela.

Everyone's favorite Dream Girl was looking stunning in blue while she explained about how much she was attached to the new film and what it personally meant to her.

"I am so excited and so honored and can't wait to get started. We start in the next week and I'm ready to go to Africa for the first time," Hudson said at a reception which took place at the Croisette at the Terrazza Martini tent.

She and costar Terrence Howard, both talked about their plan to do some run through before major photography gets in progress.

An update was also given by the actress on her new baby she had with fiancé David Otunga, David Daniel Otunga Jr.

She said that he's doing really good and had just turned nine months with three teeth now.

And after being engaged for about 20 months, the couple still plans to get married, but she did not reveal a date for the Big Day.
