Another blast rocks Sri Lankan capital

Colombo - Another bomb blast rocked Colombo Saturday following one the previous day, police said.

At least two persons were injured and taken to hospital following the blast in the Pettah district, close to the harbour.

It was the second blast after the government announced its troops had captured a key rebel held town in northern Sri Lanka.

Three people were killed and 35 injured in a suicide bomb explosion close to the air force headquarters in the capital on Friday. (dpa)
