NorthTec's Foundation Studies programme is revealed to be offering its students in the north with the opportunity to again enter the learning process and work towards new careers.
Foundation Studies student at NorthTec's Kerikeri campus, Tom Reihana, roused to initiate with a new turn in their life after realizing that he didn't possess enough qualifications to support his future plans.
A person named Tom reveals that he is amazed to see that by how different the experience of learning at NorthTec's Kerikeri campus is compared to his memories of school.
"I enjoy it much more. It's like a hometown here," he quoted. "It doesn't matter how old you are. If you sacrifice those two-three years to study you'd be amazed by what you can achieve. I'm focused on getting a job and a career and doing the work as well as I can”.
Kaitaia Foundation Studies student Kreisna Ratima reveals to utilize the programme as a means to boost its career as a nurse.
Her performance has been excellent and she's had great encouragement from the tutors and support staff at the Kaitaia campus.
NorthTec Foundation Studies tutor at the Kaitaia campus, Gayle Hill quoted that it's amazing to witness how students grab a new direction and define their life goals during the 17-week programme.
