US Show Two and a Half Men to Cast Charlie Sheen for Another Two Seasons

Announcements have been made that actor Charlie Sheen will be staying on US show, Two and a Half Men for the following two seasons.

44 year old Charlie stated, "I'm looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights".

In the middle of reports that he was asking for up to $1m (£690,000) per episode, Sheen was menacing to leave the show. Particulars of the latest contract have still not been released.

It has been reported that a trial is going on for the actor in July over domestic violence charges, although the actor denied it. He appealed not guilty to threatening, illegal mischief and mug in a pre-trial hearing in March.

Last year on Christmas Day, there was a suspected argument with his wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen, from where the charges began. The wife complained to the Police that Sheen had put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her.

Sheen plays a bachelor whose brother and nephew moves in along with him in his flat after a divorce in the show Two and a Half Men.

According to Charlie Sheen, after playing a role of bachelor Charlie Harper for about 7 years, the production demands of the show had really increased.

Later, the accusations of last minute salary demands were denied by the actor, as discussions carried on with CBS.
