The Indonesian Police and a group from Singapore's Internal Security Department, ISD, are at present in Jakarta to talks about the findings.
It has been reported that Singapore was an impending objective for activist groups in Indonesia and the main target was the Orchard MRT station.
A senior Indonesian police investigator speaking on situation of secrecy, told The Straits Times that last week, on a map of the MRT network found at the terror suspect’s home, the Orchard station had been singled out.
According to the statement from the Home Affairs Ministry, it’s vigilant of the matters improved and the conjectures and potentials that there might have been a planning being done by terrorists on an attack against Singapore, they are now investigating it.
The statement reminds the Singaporeans that they should be alert that Singapore has always been, and still is a target for terrorists.
An official, who has been involved in a number of high-profile counter-terrorism incursions in Indonesia, said that the terrorists intend to enter Singapore via Malaysia.
