In a not so shocking event, the celebrity contestant, Chad Ochocinco was eliminated from the show.

The contestant on "Dancing With the Stars ", who was popularly known to shower his dance partner, Cheryl Burke, with expensive-looking pieces of jewelry throughout the season bid goodbye to the popular program after being eliminated.

The incident has not shocked the football star, however he joked that he would be back next year as a professional dancer.

The Cincinnati Bengals player was the single one from the final four celebrity dancers who had no previous training in dance. Yet he put up a fine and tough competition for them.

However, the judges on the show were extremely impressed by his continuous improvement every week.

After being eliminated, Ochocinco said that," This was awesome. I enjoyed the journey. I met some wonderful people. I got some great criticism that's only made me stronger ... and I'll miss 'em all, especially the beautiful Cheryl Burke. And in my eyes really, I've already won".

Following the elimination, his partner on the show Burke said that Ochocinco was one of the most humble guys she had ever met. She also thanked him for being her partner on the show.
