A lot of promising shows are coming up on ABC. But it is fixated on two new shows, which are No Ordinary Family and My Generation. The Company was promoting these shows aggressively during an upfront presentation to advertisers on Tuesday afternoon.
Matthew Fox was also present to remind advertisers that after the success of Lost earlier on the network, these two upcoming shows will take television entertainment to new levels.
No Ordinary Family will have a family that has discovered supernatural powers. The season will begin with a plane crash and stars Matthew Perry, Michael Imperioli, Michael Chiklis and Dana Delany in the main roles.
ABC has lost a lot of viewers as two of its show Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy have aged and many viewers are not very enthusiastic about these shows currently.
Apart from this, ABC is also attempting to start a new comedy show and it claims that these shows will be much better than all the current shows.
My Generation show will be a scripted series and it will follow a Texas high-school class in 2000 and return to the characters after a decade.
Both these shows will be starting in the coming winter season. ABC expects them to do very well and make both the viewers and advertisers happy.
