It has been reported that John Zee Ng, owner of a restaurant located in Edmonton has been banned from ever being a part of the food business. The reason is the simple fact that he had violated almost all the regulations for food safety so many times that he has been prohibited from being a part of a restaurant for a period of three years.
Ng was the owner as well as the operator of China BBQ and it was reported that he had stored the barbequed meat on many occasions and also other food items at all the wrong temperatures and in spite of many warnings he continued to practice and did not seem to fix it at all.
It was also found that he had stored crispy pork, ducks, rice wraps and also chicken at room temperature and cooked food was stored in the cooler and that was not the least of it.
A very filthy electrical jig saw was being used as his cutting knife and it had meat debris all over it and to top it all he also had dirty rags on top of the cutting board.
The restaurant has since then been purchased by new owners and everything runs smoothly now.
