American Idol fans have been introduced to Perez Hilton's new musical discovery, Travis Garland. Garland is now on tenterhooks to ignite the pop world on his own after getting his start as a member of the boy band NLT. Garland's single debut was believed to be produced by Nate "Danja".
Until recently, many people were asking the same question that "who is Travis Garland". Only a few people knew of him through the band NLT, a band which also featured Kevin McHale, who plays Artie on Glee.
The upcoming star has admitted his first taste of success has been awe-inspiring. "It's been so much. I'm just trying to take it all in, trying not to get too distracted by everything else that's going on," Garland told MTV News. Garland, who has earned radio play as part of NLT (Not Like Them) has also produced "She Said, I Said".
The monger of celebrity gossips, Perez Hilton was so overwhelmed by the voice of Garland that he started endorsing him as a great singer. Hilton spoke to Ryan Seacrest shortly before Garland's performance where Hilton said Garland "has a better voice than Justin Timberlake". Although Garland is still a newcomer to the music world and he isn't so sure that what it takes to compete on "Idol".
