Google to Launch Music Service Soon

Google may soon start a music service in the coming days for its Android phone users. It was revealed on Thursday during the launch of Google TV. If Google launches a music service, it can be a major threat to Apple’s iTunes music service.

A user will be able to stream all of his music stored on a PC to his Android phone provided the PC is connected to the internet.

Music may also be offered as content which can be purchased from Android App Store. Many feel that Google will soon launch a service like this.

Android phones are already selling very well in the market. Google estimates that more than 65,000 Android devices are being shipped every day. Analysts feel that support from Companies like HTC, Motorola, Samsung and Sony Ericsson is also helping to increase the popularity of Android phones.

Google’s representatives are stressing that the Company is currently focused on providing better applications to Android users. They also stress that more and more applications will be offered in the coming times.

Google has still not announced any content partnership with any Company. Experts feel that content partnerships with Companies are not a strong point of Google. But it will be tying up with Companies to offer content for its various services in the future.
