People may start believing that true love has vanished from this world and that it existed in the yester world. But, Scientists have conducted a new study in which they used brain scans with the aim to study how long love lasts between couples.
The researchers at Stony Brook University in New York, who used brain scans found a minor number of couples respond with as much passion after 20 years together as most people only do during the early years of romance.
A well known newspaper in which the latest study was published reported, "The researchers scanned the brains of couples together for 20 years and compared them with results from new lovers."
Nearly 10% of mature couples displayed the same chemical reactions when they were shown pictures of their loved ones as those just starting out.
The news paper also reported that during when the initial research was conducted, it was found that the first stages of romantic love fade within 15 months and after 10 years it has gone completely.
Arthur Aron, a psychologist at Stony Brook informed, "The findings go against the traditional view of romance -- that it drops off sharply in the first decade -- but we are sure it's real."

What is love
This is a great article, I think there is so much of love that we don't understand. It may even be that what we think of as love is more of an energetic exchange, trading energy with each other.
