Telstra Releases a Series of Maps

It was seen that Telstra had released a series of maps which showed mariners and yachties. It also told how far they could go off the Australian coast and still get mobile signal.

It was seen that the maps were attempted by Telstra to inform the Australians of the wider reach of its Next G mobile network.

It was assumed that the readers without sea legs would be wondering why anybody would like to know how much signal was available off the coast.

It was noticed that Telstra had some suitable reasons for boating enthusiast and for the professionals who could easily access a huge range of important marine services like weather reports, tide information, high resolution maps, fish prices, shipping information and more.

“My brother and I sailed a yacht from Sydney to the Whitsunday Islands over winter. OK, so he did most of the sailing, and I did jump on and off at various ports to fly back to meetings, but let's not let the facts ruin a good yarn”, said a couple.

Some of tips were given by Telstra saying external antenna could be directly connected that was omni-directional or a specialist marine antenna that was able to track the best serving base station.
