In order to provide better services for small and medium business, Telstra has limited the additional usage charges that were on the fixed broadband plans at $400 per month. This announcement was made as a part of the updates that Telstra planned and was announced today.
According to the new announcement, the excess data charges have been reduced to the half from the original were i. e., to 4 cents per MB, declared the Company.
The Company also introduced two more plans, in one of 15GB for $80 per month and other of 200GB for $210 per month. These plans were made public by the Spokesman of the Company.
Other overhauls include the earlier 20GB plan replaced by 30GB for $100 per month. It was also informed that the business customers will gain from higher-speed ADSL services.
Telstra’s Business Executive Director, Brian Harcourt, stated that all the new plans aim at providing the customers with “fastest possible connection and this will be accompanied by the decrease bill shocks as the new plans have reduced and restricted excess data charges. Under the plans the customers having fixed service with Telstra Business will be rewarded with some token.
The only plan that was not changed in the announcement was business unlimited plan.
