Rising Temperature in Pacific Regions to Elevate Drought Risks in Australia

The drastically elevating climate topic, widely discussed now-a-days and another concern has been raised amid this by the Climate scientists who are concerned as they say that the rise in temperature in the Pacific region can result in dangerous droughts in Australia.

This was cited in the Nature Geoscience, and it has been stated in the report that the extreme rise in temperatures in the region will badly distress the natural El Nino - La Nina weather cycle.

It was informed by author of the report Scott Power that the temperature and its effect on temperatures in the Pacific are related to Australian drought conditions.

The report also makes it clear that the presently available modeling is not technologically much advanced and therefore the exact results cannot be foreseen.

Dr. Power emphasized the importance of knowing that the impact of the temperature can be as serious as causing the natural cycle to alter.

He added, more important is being aware of the problems that the natural cycle change can have on Australia and the Pacific neighbors and that to know all this in detail, advanced modeling is required.

Dr. Power also said that although scientists around the world have known enough about the climate change and the sea level rising, much is still lacking in modeling for more information on El Nino cycle.
