Los Angeles - Slumdog Millionaire, the year's underdog candidate for Oscar glory, continued its unlikely run Monday when it was named as one of the Producers Guild of America's nominees for the year's best movie.
The Mumbai-based drama was joined by The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Dark Knight, Frost/Nixon, and Milk.
The guild named Man on Wire, Standard Operating Procedure and Trouble in the Water as the year's best documentaries, while Bolt, Kung Fu Panda and WALL-E were nominated in the animated movie category. (dpa)
