According to the latest reports, Insomniac Games has announced a publishing deal with EA through the EA Partners program.
Insomniac Games is the well known studio that is behind the PlayStation powerhouse franchises Ratchet & Clank and Spyro franchise.
Though the announcements for the deal have been made public, however, the project name has not yet been announced.
Reports suggest that the unnamed project is in the development stage at the Burbank studio. The project would be the first title that would be published under the agreement. This would also mark the first multiplatform release for Insomniac games in the market.
According to a statement from the Insomniac founder and CEO Ted Price, "Working with EA Partners allows us to extend the reach of our games to a multiplatform audience while retaining ownership of the intellectual property. We are excited and eager to introduce Insomniac to a new group of gamers while reinforcing to our loyal fans what makes our games special".
With the partnership between Insomniac Games and EA, a platform would be provided for Insomniac games in the production of a big multiplatform game.
However, though the Company is expanding aggressively, it has in mind not to abandon the interests of their fans even as the company constantly strives to reach for the skies.
