Two Year Old Addicted to Cigarettes, Can’t Do Without 40 Cigarettes A day

An appalling picture tears the eyes out and makes the heart ache.

Ardi Rizal from Indonesia is two years old but the toddler is addicted to cigarettes.

The health of Ardi Rizal is at such a bad stage that at the tender age of two, he cannot move by himself.

The condition is due to his 40-a-day cigarette habit.

Experts claim that his condition would deteriorate even more rapidly if the toddler is not stopped from smoking.

But, despite the offer of the local officials to buy the Rizal family a new car if they succeed in helping the boy to quit have been in vain.

His father seems not at all perturbed by his son’s condition as according to him he looks quite healthy to him.

However, his mother is helpless and weeps. She says that, ”He's totally addicted. If he doesn't get cigarettes, he gets angry and screams and batters his head against the wall. He tells me he feels dizzy and sick”.

According to the reports, Ardi smokes only one particular brand and his habit burns a hole in his parent’s pockets at £3.78 a day.

Further, Ardi weighs only 4 stone, and rattles around on a toy truck by blowing away smoke rings.

He rattles in the truck only because he is too unfit to run with the other children of his village.
