Rebecca Romijn, 36, the star of popular sitcom 'Ugly Betty' and husband Jerry O'Connell, 34, have become the proud parents of twin girls - Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, born on 28th December 2008. The first for both Romijin and O'Connell, the family is all home and doing well.

Excited over starting a family, Romijin told Us magazine it was a dream to have babies, adding: 'I was never a girl who dreamed about what her wedding day would be like, but I've always dreamed about decorating my baby's nursery.'

While, Romijin was confident her husband would make a 'fantastic dad', O'Connell joked he only wanted his girls to date 'men who run countries'. A couple that seems high on humour, just in November, we had Romijin joking about her pregnancy saying she felt like 'beached whale'.

O'Connell, also an actor met Romijn in 2004 at a party, a year later he proposed and they got married in July 2007. Romijn, who recently starred in 'Ugly Betty', wanting to focus on first-time motherhood, has asked to be written off for most of this season's comedy.
