Ford Fiesta Econetic is Australia’s Most Fuel-efficient Car

Ford Fiesta Econetic has proved to be the most fuel-efficient car in the country by giving an average of 3.7 liters for every 100km. In a lot of tests done on other cars, no car could come closer to the Ford and it maintained its status as the most fuel-efficient car. Ford claims that it is the most fuel efficient car in Australia and easily beats Toyota Prius hybrid.

Ford Fiesta Econetic is priced at $24,990 for the base version. The car has front power windows but none in the back. The car is without the center armrest and only has a single map pocket and no overhead grab handles.

Other features include Bluetooth connectivity and a voice control interface. It also has an LED screen along with steering-wheel-mounted buttons. Other things include lane-change indicators and cruise control features. It also has support for MP3, iPod, USB features along with air conditioning, remote locking and a trip computer.

The car has an eye-catching design which will especially be liked by younger and contemporary users. The car's clear and sharp angular lines easily differentiate it from its competitors and its interiors are like a mobile phone and easy to use operational controls.

The car runs on a Duratorq TDCi engine that achieves a maximum power of 66kW at 4000rpm. It has a peak torque of 200Nm at a low 1750rpm. Its specially-calibrated common rail diesel engine has a coated Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).

It has low rolling tires apart from improved aerodynamics with a lower ride height. The car has also got a five-star safety rating from ANCAP.
