McDonald’s sued over posting woman’s nude pictures online

McDonald’s CorpA suit has been filed against McDonald's Corp by a person named Phillip Sherman who happened to leave behind his cell phone, which contained nude photos of his wife, at the Arkansas restaurant on July 5, and later was shocked to find the pictures posted online.

Sherman says that the employees had assured him that that his phone will be secured until he takes it back; still the photos of his wife, Tina, along with Sherman's phone number and address, somehow found their way onto the Internet!

About the incident, independent. co. uk said the nude photographs of Tina Sherman showed up along with the McDonald's logo and a slogan saying - "I'm lovin' it"; along with a caption saying Tina was "hot as McDonald's' coffee."

Such an action on the part of McDonald's caused inconvenience to the couple, bringing them emotional suffering and embarrassment. Shortly after their visit to McDonald's, Phillip Sherman said they received some unwelcome letters, threatening and offensive calls, and text messages about the pictures, which eventually forced them to move home to avoid his wife's new stalkers.

Through the suit they filed against the McDonald's Corp, the franchise owner and the store manager, the Sherman couple is seeking a jury trial and as well as a compensation of $3 million in damages for all the inconvenience they have had to suffer because of the incident.
