Thanks to Charlie Sheen, because of who's suffering, now everyone realizes that getting drunk on the most wonderful day of the year and attacking your supposedly crack-addicted wife while threatening to slash her throat in a foul-mouthed tirade is largely unacceptable.
Charlie Sheen, star of hit TV sitcom "Two and a Half Men," is expected to enter a new plea of no contest to assaulting his wife in Colorado last year and could spend up to 30 days in jail, as per reports.
Sheen had previously pleaded not guilty to menacing, misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief following an alleged argument with his wife on Christmas Day last year.
Since the incident, both Sheens have reportedly completed alcohol rehabilitation programs.
It is believed that, with credit for good behavior, a possible 30-day jail sentence could be reduced to 17 days.
Sheen married Brooke Mueller, his third wife, in 2008 following his acrimonious divorce from actress Denise Richards.
The actor, named America's highest paid TV star two years ago, recently signed a deal to star in US sitcom Two and a Half Men for another two seasons.
Honestly, Charlie Sheen's new cellmates couldn't be luckier, every day of his sentence they'll be treated to a full recital of their favorite Two and a Half Men episodes. It'll be just like real life, only better because they'll be able to punch Charlie Sheen right in the face whenever they want. Oh, to be that lucky.
