Actor Josh Brolin Not to be Charged

In a statement Tuesday, Blair Berk, lawyer for actors Josh Brolin, 40, and Jeffrey Wright, 43, reveals, city prosecutors are prepared to drop charges within 60-days, provided the two pay court costs amounting to $130 each.

Brolin, son of actor James Brolin, and Wright were with crew members of Oliver Stone's 'W.' about President George W. Bush, were part of an altercation last year at a Louisiana, Shreveport bar. A fracas caused by a crew member, saw the police arrive, refusal to leave and interference, left the police with no option but to pepper-spray both Brolin and Wright, with Wright also receiving an electric shock from a Taser gun.

Five crew members charged with misdemeanor, instead of the more serious felony charge, will also have all charges dropped against them.

Most recently, Brolin has been seen starring opposite Sean Penn in 'Milk', while he played the part of Bush in 'W.' to Wright's U. S. statesman Colin Powell, including portraying a CIA agent in James Bond films 'Quantum of Solace' and 'Casino Royale'.

As for Wright, he assayed the role of CIA agent Felix Leiter in 'Quantum of Solace' and Muddy Waters in 'Cadillac Records'.
