Cowboys and rugby players are reported to lend a helping hand in raising funds for a rural breast cancer support group and will wear pink this weekend in an outback Queensland town.
More than 500 people are estimated to be present at a 'Tough Enough to Wear Pink' rodeo and invitational bull ride in Longreach on Saturday night.
Organizer Ross Tindall posts that local football players have raised and decided to come on board, however, some bull riders expressed reluctance initially when they heard that they would have to wear pink dress.
Volunteering for Think Pink, LeFlufy is reported to photograph breast-cancer patients who are presently undergoing or have undergone treatment in the past year.
Subjects can choose if they’d like individual or family portraits. It is revealed that many of the women have come forward, opting for nude photographs as those permit them to document the changes to their body.
LeFlufy has done two shoots so far. Both women decided to have nude photos taken. One had recently had a double mastectomy; the other was about to undergo the procedure.
"The clowns - we'll be in pink shirts ... there were a few objections with the boys, they sort of said 'ah pink shirts?’ I said well if you want to ride,” posted Ross.
Each rugby boy will be going to wear pink socks and flaunt pink footballs.
