At the time when Spyker Cars purchased Saab from GM, almost everyone knew what the ongoing plan was then.

Spyker will twofold the number of dealerships in the current year by vending out their model range by means of existing Saab dealerships. A total of 60 Spyker dealers will be up and functioning by year's end, which will be up from 35, and may possibly amplify to 90 in 2011.

Spyker, which sold 36 cars in the previous year, and according to Bloomberg, have been losing wealth since 2004, and seeks to make the brand gainful by giving as an offer more sales points.

Only one Spyker trader is at present doing business in Canada, and is situated in Calgary. There are no particulars yet on how many Saab traders in Canada will be re-opened, if any open at all.

Spyker produces the C8 Aileron and the C8 Aileron Spyder, both of which are motorized by a 400-horsepower, 4.2-litre V8 engine. The Dutch corporation claims a 0-100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds for the hardtop model.
