Police of Waterloo Urges People to Delete ACT FAST

The residents of Waterloo have registered complaints to the police about receiving an e-mail regarding a man who says that he is a hired assassin and demands $30,000 payoff. In case the victims refuse to give him the amount, he claims to stalk the receiver and their family.

Reports claim that the police have warned the people of Waterloo region to delete the button, in case they receive an e-mail. They also encourage the people to act fast. The man has also notified people, to not contact the police and inform about the calls.

However, the police consider the message a hoax, as according to them it is a result of a computer virus. But, the investigators are still examining the messages with the help of Technological Crimes Unit.

Police has recommended people to immediately delete that email, which they have received and its Subject line is ACT FAST.
