Rising of Wages to be Declared by Foxconn
Rising of Wages to be Declared by Foxconn

In order to keep up the oath of hiking salaries at the contract manufacturer's factories in China, the Foxconn International Holdings has requested its patrons to help the Company, as it is facing increased burdens due to the same.

For various big brand names like Apple Inc., Sony Corp. and Dell Inc., the Company manufactures electronic devices. The Company said that now, it was time for them "to face these issues”, even though it did not said how the hiking prices will influence its pricing.

The accusations of stretching work timings caused almost 10 employees to die in last five months, in addition to many other suicides at Foxconn's production facilities. This brought up the issue of wage rise. Now for the yearly contract consultations, these rising costs may become one of the factors.

These discussions are likely to conclude by the end of next quarter, in a decision which might give a rise in the wage bill to be passed. The talks include price setting for the orders on devices ranging from iPhone to PlayStation, for the coming year. This was revealed by the Chairman of Foxconn, Samuel Chin.

The Company is also in a hope that it may come to good negotiations with its consumers over the costs this month.
