MINI Coupe is ready to reach the dealers throughout North America by next summer.
Jim McDowell, Vice President of Mini reveals that the production will be available by August 2011 and Roadster model will be available to the dealers by February 2012.
Piers Scott of MINI Australia said that there will be a makeover of the current range. However, majority of the changes will take place on the insides and beneath the bonnet.
He further added that there will be up gradation of the engine which will be instrumental in saving fuel. Alterations in the interior will take place in ergonomics and the design.
According to Mr. Scott, the Company lays stress on the fact that consumer is given choices to modify it according to his needs. He also said that after the Company launches its model update, the consumer will have a plethora of options to choose from. There will be innumerable color alternatives available to the customer while selecting the color of the insides.
Giving information regarding the upcoming model, he disclosed that MINI Countryman is soon to be launched. This model will be longer and will have more width. Also, it will be equipped with a four-door off-roader with voluntary all wheel drive.
He also revealed that the vehicle will have MINI’s forte of a pleasurable driving experience.
