Remember the Miracle That Water really is, says Gibson

Celebrate water this Friday, as an Ontario-based group works to roll out a global hour-long veneration of the wet stuff.

The main purpose behind it is to safeguard and protect pristine water sources asserts Stan Gibson, the creator of the not-for-profit Ecologos Institute and one of the initiators behind "water hour" on June 11.

The water hour ,though has no corporate sponsors or big-name endorsements, but it certainly looks like the event is gaining steam with contestants stanching from Canada, several U. S. states, the Philippines, Jordan and India.

When Gibson from Mississauga got a choice to choose from the two, either do a complete, conventional consciousness campaign that would take 18 months, or instigate a social-media campaign now.

He thought it better to choose the latter one with water hour org and an Internet proposal that incorporated Twitter, Flickr, Facebook and YouTube accounts and pages.

According to recent reports they have confronted people to upload photos and share ideas as to how water stirs them.

Co-coordinator of the Children's Water Festival for the London area, Linda Smith, believes that it's "a grand initiative `to bring water to the attention of as many people as possible'. 0
