New Zealand Company Launches Search Engine

A New Zealand Company claims to have launched a next-generation ‘intelligent’ search engine. It has termed it ‘Impressions’ and it was launched at the Microsoft SharePoint Conference in Wellington.

It is claimed that this search engine is radically different from what is available in the market and will help people to get better results.

The search engine has been developed by Professor Wai Yeap at Auckland University of Technology with the help of a $1.7M grant from the Foundation of Research, Science and Technology.

Peter Wren-Hilton, the Founder and Managing Director of Pingar also worked hard in developing it and he also has also a lot of experience in the technology field, which has helped various industries like law and pharmaceuticals.

Peter also acknowledged the hard work of Professor Yeap and his team at Auckland University of Technology. He stressed that they have worked very hard to develop an advanced search engine, which will help the Companies for reducing the cost of research.

Besides launching this search engine, Pingar is also launching two more verticals apart from value-added services for Microsoft SharePoint users.

The Company will also showcase its Impressions search engine at Shanghai World Expo on July 22. It also plans to open an office in the Silicon Valley, later this year.
