In an effort to cash in on the increasing 3D trend, the Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) has released its first set of 3D games, today. By now, so long as the title-holders of contender Xbox 360 console have a 3D TV and glasses, which can acquire and play a small number of games by means of the Xbox Live store.
Now, to get a hand on the SuperStardust, PAIN, and a single level demo of MotorStorm: Pacific Rift in 3D, Kiwi PS3, gamers have to only get through these 3D TVs. These games can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store and cost $59.90.
The only 3D proficient games on PS3 at this time are the ones for which the titles have been launched. SCE New Zealand Senior Product Manager, Krister Robinson said that they anticipated more of these works, later.
Next week more announcements of the same would be made in Los Angeles at the E3 gaming Expo. Robinson also added that the 3D being launched, will give an immersive practice to the gamers with an option for both 3D and 2D experience.
He added, “Today, you can buy a 3DTV and wear glasses to play games like Avatar, and more titles like Batman: Arkham Asylum is on the way [to New Zealand]. The list of available games is still small, but will continue to grow with new releases and Xbox Live product updates”.
