Even Cheetahs are Obsessed with ‘Obsession’

Zookeepers and biologists in their researchers have found that Calvin Klein's Obsession is not limited to men only; big cats like jaguars and cheetahs are equally captivated by this fragrance. Calvin Klein's perfume is one of the top 10 best selling men -perfume all over the world.

Zookeepers have found this interest of animals, as they sometimes spray perfumes on rocks and trees in, which helps in increasing the interest of animals. Pat Thomas, General Curator for the Wildlife Conversation Society's Bronx Zoo in New York, experimented with 24 perfumes on two cheetahs in order to test their preference.

He noticed the time duration cheetahs took in becoming aware of the smell and also, the time they interacted with this scent.

It was found that they interacted with Calvin Klein's perfume for 11.1 minutes. Nina Ricci's L'Air du Temps was placed on the second rank.

Obsession is sprayed most of the times in zoos to carry out the scientific researches. Animal's sense of smell is very strong and with this sense only they recognize and find every place. Obsession is known for its sizzling smell. Animals after noticing any fragrance cover their paws around the sprayed object and then energetically rub and sometimes sniff too.
