Today, Global Hospital Group unveiled its plan of constructing a 400-bed tertiary care hospital in Mumbai. The Group is one of the most developed chains of hospitals in India.
This new hospital will be located in the centre of Mumbai and will be a super and multi specialty hospital. The hospital will have expertise in the fields of gastroenterology, Trauma, Orthopedics, Neurosciences, Oncology, Digestive, Urological diseases, liver, Kidney, Minimal access surgery, Cardiology. The hospital will also have the facility of Multi-organ Transplantation and Stem Cell therapy.
The hospital will have continuous multiple diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical facilities. People will be able to avail the facilities of the hospital from December 2010.
The hospital has some of the world famous names in the list of its doctors. Among them is Prof. Mohamed Rela, who holds the Guinness world record. Professor Rela made this record by doing 1400 liver transplants, which is the maximum by any doctor. He also holds the record for conducting transplant on a five day old child.
CMD, Global Hospitals, Dr. K Ravindranath, disclosed at a conference that Global is the leading health care providers for people throughout the country. He further added that Global is equipped with up to date facilities and the group has multiple areas of expertise.
