Red Dead Redemption continues to be the most selling video game in the UK. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is just behind it by just 4,000 units. These games have been widely advertised on TV and radio.

According to Chart Track, Redemption’s sales have plummeted by 34%. But, it is still the most popular game in the country.

The game is first such game to have remained on the top for four consecutive weeks, in 2010. The last time this happened in 2009, when Modern Warfare 2 remained on the top for nine weeks in a row.

At the third position is 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa and the game is also witnessing a rise in sale in the wake of ongoing Football World Cup.

The fourth place is occupied by Nintendo, while Just Dance was at number five. In January, ust Dance had replaced Modern Warfare 2 from the topmost slot. Currently, the game occupies the seventh place.

Metacritic, an aggregator site, gave an average score of 98 to Super Mario Galaxy 2. Further, the site gave a 95 score to Red Dead Redemption.

Rock Band got 14th position on the charts. It is a new game plastic instrument playing series of EA, Green Day.
