Interesting Applications for iPhone Football Fans

The ongoing football World Cup offers iPhone owners a lot of interesting applications for downloading. Some applications will allow the fans to turn their smartphones into a virtual football stadium. One of the best applications is the Vuvuzela.

It is being offered as a free application and is available in various versions including Vuvuzela 2010, Virtual Vuvuzela or Pocket Vuvuzela. The Virtual Vuvuzela is also available for the Android handsets.

There is another interesting application called Vuvuzela Championship Free and it can be upgraded to the two-player Vuvuzela World Cup (99¢). This offers the fans another option to compete with their friend to see who is also a bigger football fan.

A separate edition is also being offered for English football fans called the England Fan Pack: Annoying Football Horns + (99¢). The version further adds the sound of a drum, which rattles along with an air horn. This also provides links to streaming videos of English football team’s favorite songs.

There is another application called Vuvuzela ($1.99) which provides the number of cards a player has received in the match, apart from the match and player information. Another application will allow fans to even record their own persona l commentary and it is called WorldCupKit (99¢).

All these applications are expected to be lapped up by the fans and they are a fun way of staying in touch with the favorite game.
