The up-markets agents Hamptons International has been purchased by Countrywide in a landmark agreement. The latter is known to be the leading estate agency chain global in the UK. This deal has taken place for an unrevealed sum and the acquirement has the right to spread across Europe and Asia.

On the most ruling international residential organizations, Hamptons International, is sold along with its worldwide trade maneuvers and its network of around 80 branches in the UK and abroad. This has been a contract with an outright purchase, which also enlists the Company’s global spread in the future.

Hampton’s 23 offices in London along with 41 in south will now be transferred to Countrywide.

Countrywide has planned to inflate its processes into the prominent high-end property souk, and this deal is an integral part of this planning. Prior to this, the Company had also purchased Sotheby’s International Realty franchise in the UK.

Grenville Turner, Countrywide Group Chief Executive, said, “Countrywide has a proven track record of growing and investing in strong businesses, which speaks volumes in terms of what we can offer Hamptons International. This acquisition will extend our market coverage and support our plans to capitalize on the opportunities in the prestigious high-end property sector”.
