16 Month Old Lacks Muscles in Stomach

The 16 month old Elijah Lemon has been suffering from Prune Belly Syndrome, not having sufficient muscles in the stomach. The biggest outcome of this problem is that urine does go out of his body, but rushes back to the kidneys.

Already, one of his kidneys does not function while the other has been damaged to the urine return.

The health experts have been assuming that the toddler has gone deaf due to the excessive doses of vaccines given to him.

His mother Michelle Lemon said that she has been looking for someone who can donate a kidney for her baby.

She has been urging the Government to introduce a legislation, which will allow the hospital authorities to donate the organs of the dead infants to the needy, like her.

"We are playing a waiting game on keeping him alive. He has moderate to severe hearing loss. He doesn't speak and is learning sign language", she said.

Elijah will also have to undergo muscle transposition surgery, which approximately takes two-three years. They remove muscles from the thigh to place them across the stomach to create abdominals.

Elijah has robust muscles in his back, which are missing in the abdominal.
