Toshiba is making an effort to deal into three diverse markets. It is getting underway to launch the Portégé R700 laptop, the Libretto W100 dual-screen clamshell, and a kind of mobile Internet apparatus, known as the AC100.
At a cost of just £799 including VAT, Toshiba has announced the world’s first dual-screen laptop, Libretto W100, which looks like a huge Nintendo DS due to its 7-inch screens that is within a 123mm wide form factor and 840g weight. It also includes fantastic games and will be available in the market by July.
It also features an Intel Pentium ULV5400 chip with 62GB of SSD storage, besides 2GB of DDR3 RAM and Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth. It activates on Windows 7 and 3G is also possible to run on the device. Both vertical and horizontal modes of the screen are available due to its sensor, and it can display them for full screen mode.
In the Portégé range, the most up-to-date laptop is being offered by Toshiba, known as the R700. It is 20mm thick with a 13.3-inch 720p capable display, and costs £700. With a DDR3 RAM of up to 4GB, it runs on Windows & with any of the processors like Intel Core i7, i5 or i3.
