Mark Zuckerberg

Facebook is trying to rapidly expand in Europe and has become more aggressive in these efforts. It feels there are increasing opportunities for both the developers as well as content creators. These are the words of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

He was speaking at an event organized by Facebook at London's Barbican Centre. He felt that social gaming and Spotify online music service have a lot of potential for growth in the coming days and he maintains that Internet will become a more social and interactive platform in the coming times.

Mark argued that these developments offer a lot of scope to everyone to offer new products and services and developers also has a very important role to play. Most of the services or applications developed these days are by developers. He felt that Facebook also needs to ensure that it maintains growth and is also able to maintain its popularity in the online marketplace.

Facebook was launched in 2004 and it has more than 450 million users across the world. He also praised the role of the U.S. gaming Company, Zynga and European, Playfish and he termed both of them as pioneers of social gaming.

The latest version of Spotify also received a lot of praise from the Facebook founder who especially liked its feature, where you can also come to know what your friends are listening to and the music they like and subscribe.
