A recent study performed claims that Virgin Media and Sky are the two most recommended ISPs in the United Kingdom.

Satmetrix, an internet promotion company that performed the survey claims that the subscribers to internet service providers Virgin Media and Sky are the most proffered companies that also remain loyal to their customer base.

It was survey that was based on responses from more than 24,000 people from broadband users across Europe who stated that close to 8,700 users in the UK have benefitted from a loyal customer base.

The general manager of net promoter programmes at Satmetrix, John Abraham, stated: "These benchmarks allow companies to see how consumers rate them relative to their competitors when it comes to customer loyalty."

Abraham says that these surveys help in distinguishing the services from each internet service provider.
