The recent patch of Opera that offers the stable version of the Opera web browser fails to divulge any details of the four out of five security vulnerabilities. Out of the five threats the only detailed fixture deals with font handling on Windows, which Microsoft has already patched.
Opera 10.54 hints on the severity status of the remaining four that are claimed to be extremely severe, highly severe, moderately severe, and less severe.
Thomas Ford, a representative from Opera, said that the company is respecting the disclosure practices.
In a normal phenomenon security researchers and software vendors fully disclose security vulnerabilities when the patch is ready for public and could easily be applied.
Other than this Opera 10.54 update also comes in handy for problems with the browser in Macs, such as premature shut downs.
