Can Cruise, Roberts and Sly influence the box-office?
Tom Cruise

The whole thing is about box office kingdom. Somebody has to rule it and maintain the crown once he or she gets it. And this summer will say if a trio of stars who made it big decades ago can still bring a movie to sold-out category. The actor Tom Cruise, whose “Knight and Day” an action romance movie with co-star Cameron Diaz released this Wednesday.

This movie is his first ever action comedy, but it plays on his personality so it’s not an unsafe movie for him. This was commented by Brandon Gray, president of the Internet box-office website ‘boxofficemojo.com’. There have been heaps of tales of how Tom Cruise has dropped down, but one cannot make an issue for it in terms of box-office, Gray added.

That’s only because he works with a lot of brilliant directors and has been given great concentration. Every movie cruise made did $100 million of business locally like MI, MI2 and MI3.  After that he took break and made ‘Lions for Lambs’ and that was a big flop. ‘Valkyrie’ in December 2008 was hard to put up for sale, but still that made $83 million and presented soundly for what it was.
