BBC has been given a green signal for its proposed Project Canvas for the implementation of Internet Protocol Television standard.
The project will execute collaboration between, ITV, BT, Five, Channel 4 and TalkTalk. The Protocol will be framed as a joint endeavor of all the partners.
The proposal was put forth by BBC after considering deep consultations with a number of experts.
