American Kirby Adams is all set to quit in October as the steel industry boss who earlier announced the cut at the major Corus plant in Teesside.
Adams joined Corus, which is the European division of the Indian steelmaker Tata, a year ago when the company was trailing amidst a huge loss of £100 million a month and were facing the major brunt in the international steel front.
However the steel group has emerged from the losses and is now making a profit but the expenses of the loss have to be beard by chopping down thousands of jobs, which included the steel wing at Teesside.
Mr Adams, shall now be replaced at the control of Tata Steel Europe by the chief operating officer Karl-Ulrich Kohler, who shall return to Australia, where he worked before getting into Corus.
Dr Kohler locked hands with Corus in February after his 30-year steel industry career at different companies that entails' ThyssenKrupp Steel in its list.
