Lego Harry Potter has secured the top position in the UK game charts, surpassing rivals, including Red Dead Redemption.
It has set down the sandbox hit Rockstar’s Wild West, as well, breaking the five weeks topper’s records. Wild West has been placed at the second position in the latest chart, along with quick repulso spell.
This week, Red Dead suffered a one-third dip in its stocks, allowing the Warner Bros’ Harry Potter game, lead the list.
The chart sees Super Mario Galaxy 2 at the third position, which has been followed by 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, placed at number four.
At number five, the novel game, Naughty Bear, has been positioned. The game depicts the story of a teddy bear who dominates his fellows.
Another debuting game, Namco Bandai’s Demon’s Souls, has made a striking entry in the chart, securing the sixth place, followed by Ubisoft’s Just Dance at number seven.
Meanwhile, Activision’s Transformers: War for Cybertron reached the eighth position and the producers other new versions made the first appearance at the thirty eighth positions.
However, Modern Warfare 2 could not go ahead of number ten. It has remained among the top ten, since November 2009.
